If you’re on the grapevine, then spread the news – the Winery Technology Expo is a must-attend event for those in the South Australian wine industry and will be held on May 24 in the heart of the Barossa Valley.
Whilst viticulture and wine production rely on expertise and experience for great results, there are many benefits that come with modern technology to help ensure consistency in wine-making processes.
The question for winemakers is, are you using technology to complement your skills and experience to achieve optimal results?
In this event, a team of technology experts from Centralian Controls, AME Pumps and ifm will be presenting some of the ways that wine producers can harness technology to improve and maintain quality in the flavour of their wine whilst reducing waste.
Held at the Vine Inn, nestled in the heart of the Barossa in the town of Nuriootpa, attendees will have the opportunity to ask experts questions about how they could use technology better.
Importantly, the event is designed as a networking exercise so that wine industry professionals, enthusiasts and technology experts can mingle over cheese and vino to discuss ideas and experiences. Often the best ideas are generated with a glass of wine in hand!
