The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) will be hosting four virtual sessions at this year’s FoodTech PackTech trade show in New Zealand on April 14.
The sessions, running between 9am AEST and 1PM AEST, will cover Sustainable Packaging, Circular Design, Closed Loop Programs and Active and Intelligent Packaging.
Session one, The Value Proposition of Active & Intelligent Packaging, will run from 9am AEST until 10am when Sustainable Packaging Targets – Global, Trans-Tasman & Local begins.
The third session, scheduled for 12pm AEST, is titled How to implement Sustainable Packaging Design Guidelines into your business and How to Design out Waste.
Meanwhile, the fourth and final virtual session, being led by Australian Institute of Packaging executive director Nerida Kelton, is titled Reusable & Refillable Packaging.
A string of other packaging experts will help host the virtual sessions, including Sustainable Packaging Project Manager for Food Stuffs New Zealand, Kelly McClean, and president of the World Packaging Organisation, Prof Pierre Pienaar.
FTPT is held every two years and brings together the food manufacturing, packaging and processing
