KitKat Plant Based bar back in Australia

KitKat Plant Based bar back in Australia

KitKat Plant Based bar has officially landed back in Australia to offer fans the same great taste they love, without the dairy.

KitKat Plant Based is made by combining the KitKat famous crispy wafer with a delicious rice-based milk alternative, to create an indulgent-tasting, vegan-certified chocolate.

Nestlé head of marketing confectionery, Melanie Chen said, “You asked, and we delivered! KitKat Plant Based is one of our most requested products and we are so excited to be able to bring this vegan-certified treat back for everyone to enjoy for a limited time.

“We’ve experienced an outpouring of demand on our socials for the return of KitKat Plant Based. This tasty treat will make an exciting return to our KitKat range in Australia for a short period of time.

“We can’t wait to give people more opportunities and ways to enjoy their favourite break with a vegan milk alternative, delivering the classic KitKat snap they know and love.”

The limited-edition KitKat Plant Based is available in a delectable, four-finger wafer bar (41.5g, RRP$3.00) exclusively at Coles stores nationally and KitKat Chocolatory online – while stocks last.R

Recently, Nestle’s KitKat announced its first-ever trial of innovative new paper packaging on fan favourite KitKat four-finger.

In an exclusive trial with Coles Supermarkets across Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory, more than a quarter of a million KitKat bars will be wrapped in the new paper packaging across select stores for the trial – enough to stretch almost 50km end-to-end.

The new paper packaging trial is a bid to innovate and explore every avenue to meet Nestlé’s goal of reducing its use of virgin plastics by a third by 2025, which includes using less plastic, recycled plastic, and alternatives to plastic packaging.
