The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) are inviting all industry colleagues to find out how Recycle Mate has partnered with The Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation to provide recycling advice.
The Australasian Recycling Label (ARL) Program is an on-pack labelling scheme that is helping consumers to recycle packaging correctly.
The program is designed to support brand owners and packaging manufacturers to design packaging that is recyclable at end-of-life.
ARL is an on-pack labelling scheme will provide easily accessible recycling/disposal advice for packaging formats accepted with consistent collection schemes nationally – which are supported by mature recycling markets. Recycle Mate is helping to navigate the transition.
Recycle Mate communicates with recycling education platforms that combines artificial intelligence technology with Australia’s most comprehensive recycling directory to reduce contamination in recycling systems.
Recycle mate communicates local recycling rules, and it provides granular and current information to consumers, as recycling systems evolve, and as trials and new schemes are implemented.
This partnership shows how organisations across the value chain are working together to support optimal recycling behaviours during a transition into a circular economy for used packaging.
Speakers such as, Lara Barclay, Founder & Director, Adaptation Environmental Support and Sarah Sannen, Head of Operations, APCO, will be attending.
